DRESS CODE & SHOE REQUIREMENTS:
Ballet/Tap Combination: any color leotard, any color tights, skirt/shorts (optional), pink ballet
shoes, skin-tone tap shoes
Ballet/Pointe: any color leotard, any color tights, ballet skirt (optional), pink ballet or
pointe shoes
Lyrical/Contemporary: any color leotard, any color tights, dance shorts (optional), pirouette
shoes
Jazz, Dance/Drill, Leaps & Turns: any color leotard, any color tights, dance shorts (optional),
skin-tone jazz shoes
Hip-Hop: shirt/tank, shorts/leggings, black sparkle sneakers purchased at Center Stage
Musical Theater: leotard/tank, shorts/leggings, skin-tone jazz shoes
Tap: shirt/tank, shorts/leggings, skin-tone tap shoes
Tumble/Pom: leotard/tank, shorts/leggings, skin-tone jazz shoes, poms (to be purchased later)
Company Classes: any color leotard, any color tights, dance shorts (optional), pirouette shoes,
skin-tone jazz shoes
HAIR:
Ballet/Pointe: neat ballet bun
All other classes: ponytail or bun
** No midriffs are to be shown in dance attire.
** No jeans, jean shorts or “jeggings” should be worn.
** Boys should wear black ballet, jazz, and tap shoes instead of skin-tone.
** We are happy to special order tights and jazz shoes for darker skin tones.
