We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity to take a Master Jazz Class right here at Center Stage in Leander! This Master Class will be taught by Holley Windle on October 27th. This is open to current Center Stage students as well as non-students. Holley will be sharing her expertise with the dancers. Students will be divided into two age groups – ages 6-10 and ages 11-up. Students will work on jazz technique as well as learning a challenging jazz combination.
Here is a little more about Holley Windle:
Her abilities have taken her around the world as she toured the United States and Europe as a member of the world-renowned Kilgore College Rangerettes. In 1995, she was accepted into The Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. While attending SMU, she had the opportunity to train with Tanju Tuzer, Karen Kriete, Joe Orlando, Bob Beard, and Nathan Montoya. In 1997, Holley attended The University of Houston as she simultaneously launched her professional dancing career with The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. After earning her degree, she performed in shows at Jazz Dance World, Jazz in AZ, Choreographers X 6, The Fringe Festival, Triple Focus, The Miller Outdoor Theatre’s 75th Gala, The Dallas Morning News Dance Festival, and was seen on The Debra Duncan Show.
She now works as an in-demand choreographer. She has worked with numerous high school dance teams, studios, companies, colleges, and universities across the country. Holley has been honored at the Texas Dance Educator Association’s annual dance convention.
Holley looks forward to bringing her expertise to Center Stage’s dancers in a Master Class.
