Dance in Leander: Summer Dance Camps

You may not be thinking about summer activities for your child just yet, but it’s right around the corner!  At Center Stage in Leander, we offer several dance camps for our younger dancers to keep them entertained throughout the summer.  In our summer dance camps, students play creative movement dance games, learn themed dances, make dance props, and put on an end-of-week performance for their parents.

Last summer, our students enjoyed a Princess Camp, Jungle Camp, and Pom Camp.  This summer we are excited to bring  a Musical Theater Camp, Princess Camp, and Hawaiian Camp.  Our Musical Theater Camp will explore Beauty & the Beast with theater activities, dancing, and singing!  Our Princess Camp will consist of ballet and lyrical dance, costume making (dance crowns), and theater activities.  In Hawaiian Camp, students will dance like Moana, learn traditional Hawaiian dance, and construct costume pieces for the show.  Summer dance camps allow students to explore, create, and use their imaginations!
