We are so honored to be voted Best Dance Studio in Leander and Cedar Park again this year. Thank you to all of our wonderful dance families who cast their vote for us and have supported us throughout the years. This year marks the 10th year that Center Stage has been voted Best Dance Studio!
I moved to Leander 17 years ago and opened the studio shortly after moving. I knew no one and had no connections. My family thought I was slightly crazy for opening a business not knowing anyone in the area. I had only a passion and a dream. And some would say I’m a bit stubborn! I opened knowing that I would do everything to make this business a success. I’m so glad I took that leap of faith along with a bunch of determination because it has blessed me so many times over.
When I found out that we were named Best Dance Studio for the 10th year in a row, I was so excited. It prompted me to reflect on what 10 years really looks like. My twins are 10 years old so that made me think about how long 10 years really is. Ten years ago, my twins were born four months early. At that time, running a business while I had micropreemie twins fighting for their lives in the NICU and a toddler at home was extremely difficult. We had wonderful teachers, front desk staff, and amazing dance families who stepped in to make sure everything was running well at the studio so that I could focus on my family during that difficult time. It was beautiful then just as it is beautiful now. We say we are a dance family here at Center Stage, and it is absolutely true. I know that our dance families would step in as needed. Ten years ago the studio survived through a very difficult personal time for me, and now ten years later we are rolling through 2020 which hasn’t been the easiest year for small businesses. What I have learned is that this Center Stage dance family will carry through difficult times. I am truly blessed. So thank you all for continuing to support us through the years – we appreciate you!
