At the end of March, our competition teams headed to downtown Austin to compete at Rainbow dance competition. The competition was held at the Austin Hilton. Like all things this year, the competition ran a little differently than normal. This was our first competition to compete in a block schedule. Due to covid restrictions, our studio was the only one competing at that particular time block. Our dancers had to do quick costume changes and be ready to dance in a short of amount of time. They did it, and they performed beautifully.
Have we mentioned how proud we are of our dancers this year? This has not been an easy year for them. Everything is different this year, and they are handling all the changes so well. Each competition they attend looks different with new protocols. Yet, our dancers just get out on the dance floor and dance with all of their hearts.
We have one more competition this coming weekend in Bastrop. We are looking forward to watching our dancers take the stage again. Each performance is exciting and fills us with pride. Great job dancers, and good luck at Dance Showcase!
