So many local businesses, including our own, have been impacted by COVID-19. The shutdowns and limits have placed financial hardships on several small businesses. Instead of being consumed with the very real economic downturn, we wanted to focus on supporting our favorite restaurants, shops, and businesses instead. We know that the tides will turn, businesses will thrive again, and we will all be able to gather in time.
With that in mind, we wanted to show love and support for our favorite businesses around Leander and Cedar Park. We asked our dance students to choose their favorite business. Then, the dancers learned a fun jazz or hip-hop dance combination in their online dance classes. The students then went to those businesses (during closed times) to record their dance. They also took photos in front of the business signs.
Please support your local businesses as much as you can. One of our own dance moms said, “We want to make sure we are supporting you all because we want you all to be around when this is all over!” I assured her that we have been in business for 16 years now, and we are not going anywhere! But it is an important thing to remember – keep supporting your favorite restaurants, shops, kids’ activities, salons, etc. the best that you can because they all want to be around when this is over, and they truly appreciate your support.
