We love our little Center Stage dancers! We have adopted a few new practices to keep our youngest classes dancing in a fun and safe way. Our classes begin Sept. 8th, and we are so excited to welcome back our returning dancers and meet our newest Center Stage dancers. The Ballet/Tap combo classes will have a maximum of 8 students (2.5-3 year old classes ) and 9 students (4-5 year old classes). To limit the number of people in the lobby, we are only allowing one parent per dancer (no siblings) in the lobby. We have viewing windows where you can observe your child’s class. Below is a quick video to see how our Ballet/Tap combo classes for ages 2.5-3 years and 4-5 years will look here at Center Stage in Leander.
Students will be asked to sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the studio. Masks are required in the lobby but optional while in the studio rooms. Students have stickers to dance on as well as stickers marked where to sit when taking turns. We will create as much space as we can among the dancers. We have also created individual prop kits that dancers will purchase for $10. They will bring these each week in their dance bags to avoid having to share items. Larger props such as hula hoops and stick horses will be disinfected between dancers. We will also be continuously disinfecting door knobs and bathrooms throughout the day.

Most importantly, dancers will have fun learning ballet and tap skills as well as creative movement! Our classes are designed to teach students the basics in an engaging way that keeps their interest. We hope you are able to join us in the studio this fall. For those not ready to return to in-studio classes, we do also offer a virtual interactive dance class. With limited spaces available, it’s a good idea to save your spot now. You can register online now through our Parent Portal to reserve your spot. Feel free to call us at 512-259-0445 or e-mail us at centerstageleander@gmail.com with any questions.
